¿Es posible traducir lo no dicho? La traducción literaria y el modelo iceberg de la cultura

El modelo iceberg de la cultura resulta útil para describir tres niveles de dificultades con las que se enfrenta el traductor a la hora de tropezar con las diferencias entre la cultura inicial y la cultura meta. Este modelo me sirve como punto de partida para la reflexión acerca de las posibles traducciones de los fragmentos de textos que reflejan el nivel de la cultura llamado semi-visible. Usaré como ejemplo una breve cita de la novela Rayuela de Julio Cortázar y su traducción al polaco realizada por Zofia Chądzyńska.
